Attach a extra long piece of paper to your journal and then fold it over to make a file folder like this one. Hold the whole file together with a piece of elastic. Attaching pages and making folds is a great way to improve a boring journal. These pages are spraypainted, have glued fabric strips, and see that red stripe? That is a paper napkin from Target. Use masking tape and sew on the pages to add some other textures too. On the inside of the folder I have a list of things I saw when I was on my trip.

Yum!!!
Thanks for the great tip!
Things you saw on your trip. Reminds me of the school project "what I did over the summer vacation"......ha! I never did a danged thing. I'm still that way.
I'm in the mood for a road trip, but yikes the gas prices are making me think twice. Living here in the Southwest, there are so many cool place to see.....I'd love to hop in the car and drive to the Goosenecks in Arizona....now that is a cool place. I'll have to see if there are any online images.
Once when we lived near Telluride we got so sick of the snow that we got in the car and vowed we'd drive until we found sun. Silly, we could have just checked the weather I guess. Anyway we ended up at Lake Powell. I'll always remember that little jaunt with great fondness. Oh to finally see blue sky.
Well, I ramble.
Later............
funky & fabulous. just like you. especially love those big white sprayed or stamped images on the green!
oh wow girl, loving your stuff..
and here is another question! :) The "0048" - do you have a stamp that has 4 digits and you just change the numbers, or do you stamp them all separately? I've been looking for one that has digits like that, so I was wondering if you own one and who makes it! Thx.
You can buy the stamps that change digits at a office supply or Walmart, Target, ect. Yes I have stamps just with numbers and that particular one is one of those. I need to look for the company. Please email me later on today or tomorrow and I will have the info for you.
